[ What it is ]

A managed wavelength service on the fabric.

DF Wave is the managed wavelength service on the BareFABRIC fabric. Nokia DWDM end-to-end. Available between any two facilities on the 14-site footprint.

Each service specifies a wavelength size — 10, 100 or 400 G — and a route. Optics, alarms, and capacity upgrades are provisioned by DFDC. A diverse-path option is available on every route, billed at an uplift.

The service applies where committed capacity is required between two specific sites, or where a deterministic latency profile, isolated from the rest of the fabric, is required.

[ What you get ]

Managed end-to-end. Same SLA as the rest of the fabric.

No "Wave Premium" tier. One service standard; optical capacity available wherever the fabric reaches.

Nokia DWDM

A single platform end-to-end across the footprint. DFDC monitors optics, power and alarms; capacity is visible in the BareFABRIC portal.

10 / 100 / 400 G

Standard wavelength sizes. Capacity upgrades on the same wave are provisioned under the existing contract, with no additional build.

Diverse-path option

Per route, per term. Secondary path is engineered for physical separation, with documented diversity in the install record.

One SLA

Same service standard as the rest of BareFABRIC. Service credits on a 90-day rolling window. No "Wave Premium" tier.

Same portal

Ordering, monitoring and capacity growth are managed from the same portal as the BareFABRIC Port. No separate transport tooling is required.

Engineer-led scoping

Quoting is based on a route survey rather than a fixed price list. The engineering team scopes the build before the contract is signed.

[ Quote ]

Quote a wave.

A request specifies the two endpoints, the wavelength size and whether diverse path is required. The response includes a route survey and a build estimate.
