2N+1 power, A+B feeds
Diverse A+B feeds to every cabinet, sourced from independent boards. Distributed 2N+1 design from the utility hand-off through to the cabinet, regardless of footprint.
Quarter, half, full and high-density cabinets, plus lockable cages, at THG1. Distributed 2N+1 power, sealed cold-aisle, BareFABRIC peering on every port — included by default, with no per-port peering uplift on the invoice. Quarter-cabinet customers receive the same 99.99% service SLA as full-rack tenants.
Colocation at THG1 is a single SKU offered across five cabinet sizes. The same distributed 2N+1 electrical and mechanical design serves every footprint — a quarter cabinet receives the same redundancy topology as a full rack or a private cage.
Power is metered at the cabinet. Cooling is sealed cold-aisle, sized for 20 kW air-cooled per cabinet. Connectivity is BareFABRIC: every THG1 tenant cabinet includes two 10 G ports, native peering on every port, and metro reach to thirteen other facilities across the Dutch metro — no per-port peering uplift on the invoice.
Contracts run on an annual term. Service credits are written into the SLA, not negotiated after the fact.
The items below are included in the cabinet price, not billed separately. There is no tier upsell and no separately priced add-on list.
Diverse A+B feeds to every cabinet, sourced from independent boards. Distributed 2N+1 design from the utility hand-off through to the cabinet, regardless of footprint.
Cold-aisle containment with N+1 CRAC redundancy. Density profiles up to 20 kW air-cooled per cabinet, room-level humidification active and maintained.
Two free 10 G BareFABRIC ports for every THG1 tenant — one local, one at any other fabric facility. peering and BareFABRIC Metro included on both, permanently.
Multiple-perimeter security plan with electrified perimeter fence, multi-zone access control, multi-factor authentication from the building entrance to the rack, and 24/7 monitored surveillance.
Network engineers on the phone 24/7. No first-line ticket queue between you and the engineer — the on-call engineer for that shift owns the issue end-to-end.
One service standard regardless of cabinet size. Service credits written into the SLA and applied automatically against the next invoice on a verified breach.
Sizes available today. Power inclusions below are typical; reservations above the included envelope are quoted on contract.
| Footprint | Usable | Power (typical inclusion) | Suited for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quarter cabinet | 10U lockable | 1.0 kW (A+B) | Edge nodes, network gear, MSP starter footprints |
| Half cabinet | 22U lockable | 2.5 kW (A+B) | Network operators, regional MSP deployments |
| Full cabinet | 47U | 5–10 kW (A+B) | Cloud, IaaS, content delivery, dense compute |
| High-density cabinet | 47U, sealed aisle | up to 20 kW (A+B) | AI training nodes, dense GPU clusters, sustained inference fleets |
| Cage / private suite | Multi-rack on contract | Reserved capacity | Custom physical security, dedicated power, audit boundary |
THG1 is carrier-neutral by structure. Seven dark-fiber carriers terminate inside the building, BareFABRIC delivers native peering and metro reach on every port, and Tier-1 / Tier-2 transit options sit one cross-connect away.
Data Facilities owns the building and the BareFABRIC equipment. We do not own the fiber. Customers pick the carrier that fits their contract structure — we issue the LOA and pull the cross-connect.
Verizon, Eurofiber, Relined, AFiber, DataFiber, KPN and Odido dark-fiber networks all terminate inside THG1 on redundant paths. Metro reach to The Hague, Naaldwijk, Rotterdam and Amsterdam through any of them.
DF FiberThe Data Facilities access layer. Native peering and 14-facility metro fabric on every BareFABRIC port, included. 100 G and 400 G ceilings, MTM by default.
See BareFABRICMultiple Tier-1 IP transit providers reachable by cross-connect at THG1. Diverse-path transit pairings supported for customers running mission-critical egress.
Internet PortRegional NSPs and Tier-2 networks present for cost-optimized egress, content delivery, and eyeball-close routing where Tier-1 transit is not required. AMS-IX via partners included in this layer.
BareFABRIC ports light at THG1 and at thirteen other facilities across the Dutch metro. Same SKU, same SLA, same portal at every site.
Inter-cabinet cross-connects are charged at a low one-time install fee. No monthly recurring — once the pair is pulled, it is yours for the life of the cabinet contract.
Diverse-path installs are available for customers running redundant fabrics: the secondary pair is pulled along a physically separate route inside the building, with documented path separation in the install record.
Carrier hand-offs in the meet-me room are pulled and labeled by Data Facilities engineers. Data Facilities hands off OS2 single-mode at the patch panel; the pair is lit with the optics the customer's equipment supports. LOAs are issued through the BareFABRIC portal — same workflow as a port, no carrier-on-carrier waiting room.
Managed colocation is the option where Data Facilities engineers handle the physical build for you. Equipment ships to THG1, the team unboxes, racks, cables and labels it, configures out-of-band management, and delivers a working system over IP.
Beyond install, the same engineers maintain the equipment on contract — firmware updates on a maintenance window, optic swaps, RMA coordination, IPMI re-keying, cable hygiene as gear comes and goes. Photo documentation on every job.
Suited to teams operating remotely, organizations without a Dutch presence, or operations groups that prefer to remove routine hardware maintenance from the engineering travel budget.
THG1 is engineered to a multi-layer perimeter security plan, monitored continuously and audited annually. The full physical-security detail is documented on the dedicated security page.
SOC 2 Type II reports are available to procurement and audit teams under NDA. ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certificates available on request.
Measured against the colocation service envelope — power delivery and cooling at the cabinet. Service credits are calculated on a 90-day rolling window.
Escalations route directly to the on-call engineer for that shift. No triage desk, no script tree, no hand-offs between teams.
Colocation contracts run on an annual term, with service credits written into the contract.
The full facility spec sheet is on the /the-hague/ page. Detailed pricing, contract terms and audit reports are available under NDA.
