Eyeball-close peering. High density. Engineered for bursty egress.

Eyeball reach via peering, AMS-IX via partners, 20 kW per high-density rack and on-call remote hands. Origin → edge fan-out across the metro fabric, no carrier in between.

Origin → edge fan-out, no carrier in the middle.

Content delivery and streaming workloads have a profile defined not by average sustained throughput but by peak burst, eyeball proximity and the cost of the egress curve.

BareFABRIC Metro lets you fan content from a single origin at THG1 out to edge cabinets at AM7, Nikhef and the Greenhouse cluster — one EVPN, no metro carrier in between. peering reaches Dutch eyeball networks directly. AMS-IX is reachable through partners in the building, covering the rest of the European internet from the same room.

Cabinets are sized for 20 kW air-cooled. On-call remote hands cover fleet maintenance, and capacity reservations against the Phase 2 build accommodate growth.

Operational decisions that fit content delivery.

The platform is the same. The following are the configuration choices for the CDN and streaming profile.

Eyeball peering via LSIX

Dutch eyeball networks are present in the same room. peering is available on every BareFABRIC Port from the outset; route servers support RPKI.

AMS-IX via partners

AMS-IX is one cross-connect away through partners in the building.

Origin → edge fan-out

BareFABRIC Metro establishes an L2 EVPN between THG1 and any other fabric facility, providing content fan-out without a metro carrier hand-off.

High-density cabinets

Up to 20 kW per cabinet air-cooled, with sealed cold-aisle containment and A+B feeds. Capacity reservations against the Phase 2 build accommodate growth.

On-call remote hands

Drive maintenance, optic swaps and pre-staging are covered by contracted remote hands. The same engineers handle escalations end-to-end.

Burst-friendly billing

BareFABRIC Port and the Internet Port are sized to absorb burst traffic — commits are calculated on the 95th percentile, not on average throughput. No unexpected overage charges when a content launch lands.

A request specifies the origin, the peak burst and the audience location. The response includes the cabinet plan and the connectivity quote.
