A senior team. Substantive engineering work.

We hire engineers who operate infrastructure end-to-end: designing the network, running the generator drills, carrying the on-call phone, and authoring the post-incident review. There is no first-line ticket queue, no script trees, and no second-line escalation desk between the engineer and the system.

[ Why work here ]

You will own production systems, end-to-end.

We operate one facility and one fabric, end-to-end. There are no layers between the engineer and the system. The engineer who designs a system ships it, carries the on-call shift for it, and writes the post-incident review when it fails.

The network is 100% Arista EOS, controlled via gNMI / eAPI with declarative reconciliation. The portal is OpenAPI 3.1; the cabinet metering, alarm transmission and monitoring all feed into systems we wrote and own. The work is substantial because the surface area is real and the team is sized so that every engineer owns a meaningful piece of it.

We hire for operational seriousness and demonstrated ownership. The relevant work history is the systems a candidate has run, not the employer names on the CV.

BareFABRIC fabric, peering, transit, peering. Arista EOS, gNMI / eAPI, BGP, EVPN, RPKI. This role designs and operates the underlay and the customer-facing services built on it.

Facilities & operations

Power, cooling, mechanical. Generator drills, UPS service intervals, ATS testing, capacity planning for Phase 2. This role signs off the audit packet and the operational baseline.

Platform / software

The BareFABRIC portal, the OpenAPI 3.1 surface, the Terraform provider, the control loop that reconciles desired state. Python, Go, modern web stack. Strong opinions on testing.

Security & compliance

VRKI 2.0 Class 4 audit cycle, ISO 9001 / 27001 management system, SOC 2 Type II evidence. This is not a paper-only role. The work includes walking the perimeter and signing the report.

Data center / on-site

Rack-and-stack, cabling, IPMI configuration, remote-hands work for managed-colocation customers. This is the engineer on site when physical work is required.

NOC engineering
